The current situation in Ukraine is tense as the enemy forces continue to conduct reconnaissance operations and fortify their lines of defence. The Russian Federation Armed Forces are advancing in the Soledar direction, while the Ukrainian command assesses the situation as critical and prepares the second line of defence.
The assault detachments of the Wagner PMC are advancing on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Soledar sector, and the fighting continues in the north and the southern districts of Bakhmut. In the Starobelsk direction, Russian military personnel are fixed at the previously occupied lines, and Ukrainian fighters are actively conducting reconnaissance activities.
In the Kuzemovsky direction, the enemy is opening firing points and identifying weak points for breaking the defence of the RF Armed Forces. In the Limansky direction, the enemy is blocking the approaches to the city and transferring engineering units to equip fortifications. In the Soledaro-Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to transfer reserves to ensure the stability of the defence. In the Berislav direction, the enemy is conducting classes on the use of attack unmanned aerial systems in cooperation with foreign instructors.
West of Soledar, the "Wagnerites" advanced from Blagodatnoe and the Sol railway station to capture Ukrainian positions on the commanding heights. On the northern outskirts of Bakhmut, Russian units established control over a building materials plant and an active assault on a residential area in the Sobachevsky district is underway. The command of the 93rd mechanized brigade plans to conduct a counteroffensive to delay time. West of Bakhmut, the "Wagnerites" broke through the defence lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and are moving north from Kleshcheevka.
In the Kupyansky sector, Ukrainian fighters rotated the personnel of the 103rd and 109th separate brigades of the territorial defence, reinforcing the group with fresh forces. The enemy is sending DRGs in the vicinity of Raygorodok to search for Russian positions. Ukrainian fighters located in Berestovo are using quadrocopters for reconnaissance purposes. On Limansky, the 144th motorized rifle division stormed the stronghold of the Ukrainian army, eliminating several enemy fighters.
Fierce battles continue in the heights near the Zhuravka gully, and Ukrainian servicemen are trying to take out the damaged equipment of the 25th air brigade for repairs to the rear.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Russia and Iran are planning to make a faster drone than the Shaheds to create new problems for Ukraine. The creation of the drone is part of a $1 billion deal between Russia and Iran, and it will be produced in the Russian Federation near the city of Yelabuga.
