In the last 24 hours, Ukraine faced 45 combat clashes, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 61 Russian attacks across six frontline areas and eliminated 860 Russian soldiers. The General Staff reported that the operational situation near the Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus remains unchanged despite ongoing combat.
In the northeastern border area, the Russian army continues its presence, engaging in active sabotage activities to hinder the deployment of Ukrainian troops. Moreover, the Russians are increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian forces are holding firm against repeated attempts by Russian invaders to surround Avdiivka. In the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces thwarted 8 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka, along with another 16 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
On the Kherson front, Ukrainian Defense Forces are expanding their bridgehead, facing significant losses from Russian assaults. Despite casualties, Russian troops persist in attempting to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions, conducting 18 unsuccessful assault operations in the last 24 hours.
Regrettably, Russia launched a barrage of 9 missile strikes, 84 air strikes, and 50 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas. Civilian casualties and damage to residential buildings and infrastructure were reported.
The Russian losses in the Tavria direction amounted to 493 people and 46 pieces of military equipment, with approximately 10 occupiers surrendering. The Defense Forces of the Tavria direction reported 37 combat clashes, 32 airstrikes, 8 missile strikes, and 1,007 artillery barrages.
In the Mariinsky direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 9 attacks near Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks west of Verbovoy, Robotyny, and south of Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukraine's Air Force spokesperson, Yuriy Ignat, disclosed that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has fired 63 Dagger aeroballistic missiles over Ukraine, with 25 successfully intercepted.
On the information front, the Center of National Resistance revealed that Russia has deployed around 35,000 Russian Guardsmen in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. These forces are tasked with conducting filtering activities among the civilian population and identifying members of the underground movement.
